Audio Typing

With vast experience of audio typing medical and legal reports clients can be assured of a high level of accuracy when they use Enigma’s services. 

Transcriptions are carried out by UK based audio typists whose first language is English.   A fluent transcript of the recording will be provided removing any hesitations or ‘filler words’. (If completely verbatim transcription is required please specify) 

Charges are per audio minute so you know the price of the work before you get surprised by an invoice!

Single Voice:
Standard service:     90p per audio minute (your transcription will be returned within three working days)

Same day service:    At times we may be able to accommodate a same day service, please contact us if you require this service which will be charged at £1.10 per audio minute.

Medical transcription add 10p per audio minute

Minimum charge of £10.00 applies.  We do not currently charge VAT.

To request Enigma’s audio typing services please either email your digital file and template (if required) to admin@enigmaoffice.co.uk or upload to our File Upload page stating whether Standard or Same Day service is required.  .

We will usually acknowledge your request within two working hours and provide you with the finished, typed document within three working days (same day if Same Day service is requested).

Copy Typing

Accurate copy typing of documents from handwritten notes, minutes and typed literature.  

£7.50 per 1,000 words (handwritten please note that this is for clearly legible copy)
£7.00 per 1,000 words (typed document)

Minimum charge of £7.00 applies.  We do not currently charge VAT.

To use Enigma’s copy typing service you can either scan (if you are able to take a good copy) and email the documents to us or upload the file(s) to our File Upload page, otherwise please send an email informing us that you are sending us paperwork (postal address on Contact Us page), let us know when we are likely to receive it – we suggest that you send this as signed for delivery to ensure safe receipt.  We will usually acknowledge receipt within two working hours and give you an outline of when you can expect your finished typed document.

Interview Transcription

Intelligent verbatim transcription - intelligent verbatim provides fluent text leaving out misspeaks and repetition of words/stutters.  For complete verbatim including all filler words and misspeaks add 15 pence per audio minute. 

Up to 3 voices:

£1.10 per audio minute (5-7 working day turnaround)
£1.25 per audio minute (3 working day turnaround)

4 to 6 voices
£1.20 per audio minute (5-7 working day turnaround)
£1.35 per audio minute (3 working day turnaround)

If you require a faster turnaround we are often able to accommodate at a small surcharge (please highlight this when you submit your order and we will be in contact to discuss terms and whether we are able to meet your deadline). 

you wish to use our interview transcription service please either email your audio file, any specific instructions (if you are a new customer) and template, if required, to admin@enigmaoffice.co.uk or alternatively upload the files securely on our File Upload page.  
We also accept audio files on CD by post to our registered address found on the Contact Us page, we suggest that recorded delivery is used for this option.

Upon receipt of your files we will acknowledge your transcription request and provide you with an ETA for completion of your work.

Proof Reading

With experience of proof reading websites, marketing literature and tenders Enigma is well equipped to identify spelling and grammar errors and highlight repetition and inconsistencies. 

The document will be returned with ‘changes tracked’.

£7.50 per 1,000 words

(Please note that should a document require heavy editing then Enigma will discuss this with the requestor.)

Minimum charge of £7.50 applies.  We do not currently charge VAT.

To use our proof reading service, please either send us the documents as attachments (or as a link to documents or website) on an email to admin@enigmaoffice.co.uk or upload files securely on our File Upload page; we will acknowledge receipt within two working hours, giving you an outline of when we expect to return the document to you (for websites we will provide a word document with comments relating to each page).
